It’s
Monday morning nine o’clock in Welkotown. A group of students at tauka
Business College are going to their class in Room 312. Their first lesson:
English with Ms Stern. But there’s no teacher in sight. The students are
sitting or standing around, talking. A few are quickly finishing their
English homework. Isn’t
Ms Stern coming to class today? At five past nine, she bursts into the
classroom. |
|||
Ms. Stern: | Morning everybody! Sorry, I’m late, I had a problem with my car.
- Ms Stern looks around the room. – |
|||
Ms Stern: | Where’s Nixe Serpentine?
Maria Kult: | She’s coming in a minute. She had to see the school secretary.
Ms Stern: | What about Tropos Kück? Why isn’t he here?
Tropos: | I am here! | ||
Ms Stern: | Oh, sorry Tropos, you look like Husten.
Tropos: | I don’t. | ||
Ms Stern: | Well, were is Husten.
Tropos: | He’s looking for a parking space.
Ms Stern: | And Ute Joke. | ||
Maria Kult: | I think she’s staying at home today. She didn’t feel well yesterday.
Ms Stern: | Okay. Now, today, we are talking about personal style. Let’s begin with what we’re wearing. What are you wearing this morning, Noricum Record?
Nori: | Jeans, a sweatshirt, shoes and a jacket.
Ms Stern: | Okay. But that doesn’t tell us much about your style. What are your jeans like? Baggy? Tight? Designer? Second-Hand? And what are your sweatshirts, shoes an jacket?
- Ms Stern looks at the other students in the class. –
Ms Stern: | Hair, make-up and jewellery are also important when you talk about style. Can you describe your look, Elfète Körbper?
Elfète: | I’m wearing old Blue Jeans today. I bought them yesterday in a second hand shop together with yellow slippers. Husten made fun of it, because I said this clothes were designer clothes. But I don’t have more money to buy expensive clothes in fact of loosing my job.
Ms Stern: | Oh, I'm sorry to hear about that. Why did you loose your job?
Elfète: |
I worked at a bar and there was a great mirror. When I
saw this, I took of all my clothes.
At the next day I was fired by the keeper. So I went to this college to studie dreams. |
